Actually, snooker time is almost over, since it’s already time for the final at the Crucible in Sheffield. If this makes no sense to you, you’re definitely not a snooker fan (and you can stop reading). I’ve been to the Crucible twice, to be honest. Well, it looks like Jimmy White – he’s many people’s all time favorite – is slowly getting out of the picture, although still fighting to keep his rank up; he even went from 11th to 7th position. So perhaps there is still hope. (Jimmy White on Wikipedia) Anyway, Stephen Hendry has done it enough times before, Mark Willimas and Ronnie O’Sullivan are out, so new names will arise. I favour Matthew Stevens, not that new anymore, but to me he’s the best player around to never have won the title (except from Jimmy that is).
